Accordingly, Yiannis Ploutarhos, in his speech, thanked everyone and especially all the producers, mentioning all of them one by one. This is a very beautiful job and we hope that people will love it as we did! We did our best, working on the songs for more than 1,5 year, but we want people to find it easier on the kiosks, without this reflecting in a negative way as for the CD stores!”.
Mentioning that the CD includes 19 (!!!) songs, he said in a very polite way and with respect that it is much preferable for a producer’s work to be included in a CD album and in that way to have a fullest CD, even if it is a bit “too much” for the cd when heard, than to exclude it, especially if the song is really good! I respect greatly the producers, who gave me songs with great love, and I feel I ought to at least “reach” my limits”.
He also referred shortly to the Eurovision, saying that in general this is not a festival that suits him, but he would participate, if there was a good Greek song with Greek Lyrics.
Last but not least he thanked specially Iasonas Triantafyllidis, who always helps without waiting for something in return, and invited everyone on April 8th, at the premier of his performances in a new club with a view to Acropolis, together with, for the first time, Yiannis Yokarinis and a very good new group called Melisses.
It is worth mentioning that Yiannis Ploutarhos remained for more than 45 minutes to give a short interview to journalists of TV stations, who were quiet a few, and he did that smiling and with great patience!
The CD is being released on March 23rd 2010, in two editions. One in 15.000 spots all over Greece, together with the glossy book-album, costing 12,90 E and one in the regular edition (CD) in the cd stores for 9,90E.
It is also worth mentioning that on May 13th 2010 Yiannis Ploutarhos’ new video clip for the song Hastouki tis Agapis was first transmitted. It is a great song out of the artist’s last CD Prosopika Dedomena which already has its first fans.
